I-Chi, Lin
林奕其
I-Chi, Lin’s artistic interest lies in our fundamental existence as human beings. The curiosity about “human” guides her to look deeper into our own body, soul and spirit. Artistic expressions are ways for her to connect to the source of creativity, be it in the forms of visual arts, body movement or performances.
With the background study of Anthroposophy, Zen Buddhism and Improvisation art, she expands her explorations into different areas between art and life. Manipulating body, space and time, with means and through tools of visual arts and live performances, the intention of her works is to create entrances and openings for people to enter deferent levels of (self-)consciousness and she hope that by embodying the experience that the environment and we are one, eventually it will lead to the initiation of a healthier being together and co-existence with the world.
現任青禾華德福實驗教育機構兼任藝術教師，洄廊Corridor⼯作室主持⼈。
畢業於荷蘭瑞特菲爾德藝術學院(Gerrit Rietveld Academy)美術系(Fine Art)。受荷蘭LIVE WORKS場域特定表演⽅法、⾝⼼學、⼈智學與禪學啟發，林奕其的工作媒材含概繪畫、影像與表演。在兼具藝術與教育性的創作脈絡中，探究人的感知、意識以及⼈與環境相互依存的關係。整合其對即興藝術的投入，持續試驗現場性經驗營造，修煉身體與心流的路軌。2018年於臺東組織洄廊工作室，至今策劃舉辦多場展演與課程，致力於跨領域藝術的實驗與交流。曾受⽂化部、台北市⽂化局計畫獎助，於臺灣⽵圍⼯作室、芬蘭Arteles Creative Center、 荷蘭藝術家駐村及發表作品。
