LIVE WORKS is a body movements/improvisation group, organized by Pien Vrijhof, who is a theater design consultant and a former teacher in Gerrit Rietveld Academy. LIVE WORKS tends to open a field in which performers bring broader sense of engaging body,mind and space.
The collaboration between Pien Vrijhof, I-Chi Lin, and Wei Ling Hung has begun since 2011. In 2017 summer, we organized ourselves to have intense improvisation sections in diverse spatial structure. Exploring possibilities of moving-in-space, the creative process sharpen one’s sensing, feeling and thinking ability, negotiate the fine line between performance and life.
